Третій рік підряд я пишу про музику в іграх, намагаючись вижити під час повномасштабного вторгнення Росії в Україну. 2023-ій рік приємно здивував колекцією чудових саундтреків навіть в нових іграх, хоча, звичайно, чудової музики з ігор, які я проходив з минулого разу.
In love with: Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition
So… I’ve never played a Dragon Quest game before this one. It’s a bit odd to think that, given how important for the development of Japanese-made RPGs the game was. Even if it itself originally drew inspiration from Wizardry and Ultima. But yeah, I’ve played almost every Final Fantasy game, but never Dragon Quest. So I’m glad that DQ XI became my introduction to the series as I do see why it’s often called one of the greatest examples of the genre.

Саме так я знайомлюсь з серією Dragon Quest. Трохи дивно, що я до цього в них не грав, бо серія стала неймовірно впливовою на розвиток всіх японських RPG, хоча і сама в першу чергу була зроблена під впливом від Wizardry та Ultima. Але якось так вийшло, що я пройшов майже всі існуючі Final Fantasy, але не грав в жоден Dragon Quest. Добре, що знайомство почалось саме з DQ XI, бо я бачу чому цю гру часто називають однією з найкращих в жанрі.
